DIY Maxi falda. DIY Maxi skirt.

Espero que hayáis disfrutado de éste fin de semana .

Hoy os traigo una idea muy económica y bonita para estos días en los que se acerca el verano, una maxi falda que podemos hacer en una mañana ;)

I hope you have enjoyed this weekend.

Today I give you a really cheaper and smart idea for these days in which summer is coming, a long skirt that we could perform in only one morning ;)

                                                 

Necesitaremos: Tela, tijeras, metro, jaboncillo de sastre, cinta elástica y aguja e hilo o máquina de coser.

We will need: Fabric, scissors, meter, tailor soap, elastic tape and needle and wire or sewing machine.

 

En primer lugar doblamos la tela en dos partes iguales y marcamos arriba la mitad de la talla de nuestra cadera, en mi caso mi cadera mide 90 cm así que marcaré 45 cm.
De largo marcamos un metro y en la base 65 cm y trazamos una línea desde el primer punto que es el que marca la mitad de la cadera, y el último punto que es la base, para que así se vaya ensanchando de más alto a más bajo y tenga movimiento.
Firstly, we should bend the fabric by half and mark on the top the measurement equal to our hip half size, in my case, my hiop is 90 cm since I will mark 45 cm.
We mark 1 meter long and in the opposite base 65 cm and we mark a line from the first point (that which mark the half hip distance) to the last one in order it could be widen to leave the skirt moves once finish.

A continuación cortamos por donde hemos marcado.
Then, we cut the fabric following the line marked.

 

Colocamos la cinta elástica al rededor de la cintura y la aguantamos con alfileres, ésta debe medir la mitad de nuestra cintura, mi cintura mide 70 cm así que ésta cinta mide 35 cm en total.
Following this, the locate the elastic tape around the hip and hold it with pins, this should measure our waist half distance, mine measures 70 cm so this tape measures 35 cm in total.

Cosemos la cinta elástica a la cintura de la falda manteniendo la tela tensa para que cuando terminemos quede fruncida y elástica.
The next step is to sew the elastic tape to the skirt, holding the fabric stretched in order it finally could be elastic and gathered at the end.

Después solo tendremos que coger el bajo de nuestra falda, aunque en éste caso a mi se me ocurrió hacerle una abertura lateral así que descosí un poco de la costura que hice anteriormente y volví a coger un pequeño dobladillo de las dos partes que me quedaron. Ya se que lo podía haber hecho antes y así ahorrarme el trabajo de coser y descoser  pero en éste caso se me ocurrió al final. Vosotras podéis aprender de mi fallo y hacerlo al principio, solo tendréis que calcular la distancia de la abertura y coser lo restante con un pespunte sencillo.
Finally, we will only to sew our skirt's bottom, although in this case I occured to perform a lateral overture since I unstitched a little the seam and sewed the bottom again in the two new parts left. I know I could have done it before and then save time while sewing and unstitching but in this case this idea came to my head at the end. You can learn from my dismiss and do it at the beginning only calculating the overture distance and sewing the left part with a simple backstitch.
